Decanted 9.5 hours. Drunk for New Year as part of our unplanned Graham theme. Nose very big, clove rock and bitter cherry sweets. The mouth is big again, boiled sweets and the bitter cherries, very nice indeed, though a little dusty in the mid-palate. A good long finish with dryness and balanced bitter acid. Great port.
One of very few remnants from the first large batch of port I bought. Drunk in excellent company in a cottage that used to be an excise office at the base of Strangford Lough. Happy New Year to all on :tpf:
