Deep red, 80% opaque, showing a little browning. Nice nose of sweet and juicy fruit. Sticky, sweet fruit entry, softened by early maturity; a pleasant spiciness in the mid palate. A nice elegance typical of Warre. Very pleasant. A touch hot on the aftertaste, but with nice fruit. 88/100.

The review thread contains a list of all the ports on show at the 2014 Berry Brothers Port Walk.

I was rather perplexed by both 94s shown. This and the Dow seemed muddled and inexpressive. I am unsure if it is a phase they are going through or how these bottles were handled, or a bit of both. This was not so dense and complete as the Dow but with a pleasant honey finish to the palate. Not a typical hard sooty Warre of old and a hint of a question mark must remain about a 20 year old port which tastes so forward.

Tastings taken from two different bottles.
Bottle 1. 60% opacity, brown-red, bit cloudy. Dirty jammy nose, bit disjointed on the palate. Some mild TCA.
Bottle 2. 60% opacity, brown-red. Fruit and spice on the nose. Quick to a tannic bite, but full of fruit.

My notes say this: quite a lot of eucalyptus in the nose, light body, not that impressive in the mouth, not that sweet for a Warre (I thought it was the Dow until I checked the bottle)
