D+0h: lots and lots of deposit in the bottle and the tea filter I always use, smells mildly of raspberry, D+4h: ruby-red colour, smells of currant, raspberry, eucalyptus and in the background mildly of marzipan, medium body, nice acidity and smooth in the mouth, not that sweet (for a Warre almost "half-dry"), in the mouth dried currant and a little bit of marzipan, in the aftertaste a lot of acidity + marzipan and a little pepper, good length (30 sec.), at the end, a mild taste of marzipan lingers on the tongue, a very good LBV, since I like primary fruit to be still present in my port, I'm not sure if I would drink my LBVs earlier, yet it was a very pleasant and also educational experience. Thanks Daniel for providing this bottle. If the opportunity presents itsself, I wouldn't mind buying some more.
