F70 (MPM). Glorious red, 50% opaque. Palate had lovely structure, red fruit, medium weight, and delicious.

Deep red, mature appearance; 80% opaque. Closed on the nose but with some fruit. Soft and flavoursome entry with balanced acidity. Fragrant but with a licorice root compound and faint charcoal tannins. There are also hints of higher alcohols, but these add to the layering and complexity and are not too distracting. Big and flavoursome finish. This is a big wine not yet at its peak. Chewy, fruity and very good. 93/100. Decanted 10 hours.
