D+4hr : Deep red in colour, violets on the nose; tasting full with violet and pepper tones, still quite young.
At D+40hr this had totally fallen apart, which surprised me for such a young wine from a generally accepted to be decent, if not "should have been declared" year; it had become harsh and spirity, very terse, and no enjoyable.
Rated for initial (D+4) taste: Good.
