From the same case as noted here; http://www.theportforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=81935
A similar bottle overall but this was a little fuller and more expressive. Initially a nose of spice and dust which opened out over the course of an evening. A palate of some peaks and troughs, liquorice root, nutmeg and allspice. More blackcurrants than the redcurrants noted previously. Better the next night, smoother and a touch richer with some of the peaks ironed out.
Typically of the 77s it is not a huge wine, but it has that piercing spicy quality which I find deliciously moreish.
Points; about 91 for me with no rush to drink it, others might put it nearer 89.
