Hopeful about the 66 and 55, less so the 60 as it was a leaker and the cork plunged into the bottle before the worm had hardly touched it- still, fingers crossed!

F66. Very young-looking: bright rich red, 60% opaque. Nose showing mint, strawberry, tannin. Palate rich and soft, big and red-fruited. Heat mid-palate. Size big but not massive. Lovely, though I slightly preferred the 1955.

40% opacity, red! Muted nose, a little fruit. Very smooth in the mouth, mid-weight, syrupy, red fruit.

BBR bottled. Deep red colour, 80% opaque but with a narrow rose coloured rim. Restrained on the nose, lots of swirling brings out some delicate red apple peel and slightly sour plums. Nice rounded entry with a lovely balance. An elegant flavour profile with gentle milk chocolate tannins. Big flavours show on the late palate, full of mandarin yet with a summer meadow freshness. The aftertaste is huge, chewy and sticky with a sweet maraschino cherry and a long, elegant milk chocolate at the end of the finish. A really outstanding port. 95/100. Decanted 12 hours.

A very close second place in my wine of the night voting.
