30% opacity, amber red. Bad nose - bacterial/VA. Palate - terrible.

Light burnished copper, 40% opaque. Gentle smelly nose, a touch of bottle stink that makes this mildly astringent. Soft on entry, slightly unpleasant fruit - sweet but tainted. Gentle dry tannins under the bruised and mouldy fruit. There is some harshness to the aftertaste, dry on the early finish but sweet, jellied redcurrant on the finish. Rather out of whack at the moment. One to leave for 5 years in the hope and expectation will improve it. 83/100.
