In a word - wow. This is going to be a stunner.

Deep red with an opaque centre and a medium width rim. Gently perfumed nose, full and rich with tart and focused fruit. Really concentrated and attractive. The concentration flows through to the palate, full of deep and rich fruit with power and wonderful flavours. Gentle tannins underlie the amazing fragrant fruit and deliver a fantastic texture on the palate. Rich and powerful and an amazing port for the future - but leave it 30 years to reach its peak. Some acidity shows on the aftertaste. The finish is huge, long, and full of concentrated blackcurrants - sweet and lovely. This will be an amazing port at some point in the future. 96/100. Decanted 26 hours.
