Burnished gold colour, 30% opaque. A touch oxidised and dirty on the nose, slightly off-putting. Rather flat on the palate, lacking in fruit but with lots of brown sugar. Little complexity, only sugar with the fruit having faded. Pleasant burnt brown sugar finish. Pleasant, but not great and a weaker wine in this context. 88/100.

Fr45. Tawny colour, 30% opaque. Not liked. High-toned, thin, and hot.
