Mature brick red, 60% opaque. Lovely nose of fresh spring days and sweet lilac perfume - delicious. Sweet and elegant entry with a lovely syrupy texture. Full and flavoursome, composed of rich mature fruit, perfumed with cedar wood and cinnamon. Lovely complexity. Some heat on the aftertaste, then a golden syrup and raisin finish. Wonderful finish, long and lingering with a whole range of flavours; a delight to enjoy the lingering finish. 98/100. Decanted 3 hours.
