Following a recent unfortunate incident where a bottle destined for a tasting was misplaced after being left at the B&F, Cerys (the manager) has implemented some rules to try to prevent a recurrence.
1) Bottles are not to be left any more than 4 weeks before a tasting
2) Bottles being left must be labelled as belonging to the Port Forum and carry the date of the tasting on the label. (The B&F will provide a neck tab if required.)
3) Any bottle left at the B&F should be given to the duty manager, who should enter it into the log book and give the person leaving the bottle a ticket. The other ticket will be stuck on the bottle.
This should ensure any bottle we leave at the B&F is there when we need it for our tasting!

A Cockburn 1955.
It was left at the B&F about two years ago, during which time there have been several managers and many staff.
