There is always openings available for the upcoming tastings =)

i hear the british pound is quite strong now.

the cost of coming to the states for a port tasting should be insignificant to you guys in london =)

But the cost would not be purely monetary ...

Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

I am completely confused. One night? Two nights? One night is plenty for me, especially as we are thinking of another tasting the next week.

Two nights

Jeff suggested that we open the bottles the Wednesday evening, taste and take notes, then return Thursday to re-taste and re-note. Nobody objected.

Not a problem for me if you folks get an early start so long as there is something left by Thursday.

I won't be able to make the first night, but I will be able to make the second night, so I will bring the Taylor 85 and the Andresen 85 then. That way you'll be assured of having enough to taste for Thursday night (although I do hope there will be some left from each bottle for me to try!)
