I could be tempted. There's always the Davy's place just off King Street? 5.30pm?

Sounds like a good plan, how about The Red Lion? Just in Crown passage behind BBR

Unfortunately CMAG is unwell and will not be attending the Port Walk. This means that I have a spare ticket. If anyone wants it, please let me know (preferably by email) before the end of Wednesday otherwise I will see whether BBR can resell it.

5.30pm is going to be a push but I'll try (Red Lion is fine). Can someone remind me what time it starts as my ticket appears to have gone awol...?

Sadly I wasn't able to make it this year. Would someone mind posting the list of delicious beverages for me to envy?

Thanks very much. It is a testament to the good folk of TPF that I've sampled and enjoyed nearly all of these!

I have never been at the BBR port walk. Is it worth while to travel from Sweden to attend next time? How many vintage ports, roughly, are served?

The list just above is fairly typical of the range of ports on offer at the BBR port walk. The bottles are arranged on tables around the room, everyone is standing, and you have a single-glass; essentially you walk up to the table and ask for a serving of the port you want to try; mingle (or not) while you drink, then repeat. The event lasts two hours, and you can sample as many as you wish.
