Yes please, subject to the obvious constraints.

Might try for a guest — who will then become unavailable.

Yes please...any chance of this one being a 'brown sticky stuff' tasting...here's hoping.

Very unlikely if I'm organising it!

No chance for me I'm afraid on this date. Hope to see folks again for the GC tasting, if reserve spots open up.

I might have to go collect a suitable bottle — and might not. Please sir, what’s the theme?

What about "bring a container of port, or something a bit like port, to share with port-lovers"?

That way RLC can bring something brown and sticky, you and CSD can bring whatever you have, and the rest of us have free rein to choose whatever we want to bring.

I may be able to swing this one. Consider me heavy pencil with a tbc early next week. Btw, I think you may have confused Cookie & RLC in the first post.

My attendance is now confirmed, assuming there is space at the table.

The B&F have all their rooms booked on Thursday night so we will be given a table in the corner at the far end of the bar. That means a smaller group will work best - I'll limit numbers to 8 (unless CSD is able to make it).

Given how busy they are, it would be helpful if we could pre-order. Please post below what you'd like to eat.

Julian - could you update the placemats please? I'll print them on Wednesday and bring them with me.

I have to go to a conference, so will be late. With space tight, and eight people, it would be most efficient to print the placemats on /USLegal = 14″×8½″. Is there anybody able to print on US Legal who will be punctual?

• Parma ham with melon, burrata mozzarella and fig dressing.
• Chargrilled sirloin steak 220g with hand-cut chips and grilled tomato, blue = extremely rare.

Julian. I have no ability to print at that size but I might be able to pick up from somewhere in the City if you can. I have a 2.30pm meeting but will be in town earlier and have options of arriving at Thameslink stations too. Ben

Backup plan: I print Tuesday evening (rather too early methinks), and deposit placemats and bottle on Wednesday.

Who, other than Ben, want to take possession of the new cufflinks?
