Shabby stuff Julian - I think you should bring two to compensate!
Don’t have two. OK, I’ll choose something else: 2×G80; or 2×RP94?
F66 it is, then!

DRT: do you wish to choose a style or look from the list of placemats that you recently discovered?

Simon P (aka JAG123) has confirmed attendance by PM so has now been added to the list in the first post.

The table is now full and the list of Ports is looking quite impressive. Could those who have not yet revealed please do so to enable JDAW to produce the placemats?

Thanks.

Quick, we're almost out of time to make placemats... there's only (just over) a month to go! :P
I'll bring a Butler Nephew '70.

Should we have a Meaningful Vote on whether or not to use placemats on 12th March? :P

Thanks for the BN70.

We could plan for a Meaningful Vote on the 5th March, but expect to delay the vote until the 12th.

That just means we either have to have a legally binding backstop in place or we have to delay your birthday.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Being in a perpetual state of never having another birthday is exactly the outcome I am seeking to avoid

I have updated the default food order to include everyone at this tasting plus a few more. Please check here and let me know if I have made a mistake with your order.

Zak - please choose what you want to eat from this menu.

I'll have flatbread and houmous for starter and rare sirloin with béarnaise for main.
For any placemats, my initials are ZDR.

  1. DRT - Graham Malvedos 1965
I have searched every shelf of my wine fridge and am sad to report that someone has stolen my bottle of Graham's Malvedos 1965.

I will now be bringing a Taylor Vargellas 1965.

DRT - a few housekeeping matters from me:
  • I hereby declare I will be bringing Graham 1970
  • My default food order no longer seems to be available. Please can I replace with: starter - goats cheese & beetroot salad; main - medium-rare rib-eye with a side order of onion rings.
  • Treacle tart with clotted cream is back - about time!

My birth year - I too seek eternal life!

The bottle is in pretty good condition, has been stood up in preparation for its demise in a few weeks (but remains in the cellar) and will be decanted at an appropriate time ahead of consumption. If you have a view as to exactly when decanting should take place, please guide me.
