I'm quite surprised no one has replied to this. Normally there is a little interest. Am I to be the sole TPFer at this? :(

I also have a ticket, although I am not certain that I will be able to make it to the tasting.

The usual format for the port walk. I thought the ports from the ’70s were unspectacular, the T70 being the better of the lot, but all were lacking some sparkle. T92 was very nice, the second time to taste this in a month, it has a certain jammy taste which might lead me to question if it will last the distance, though this wine could easily close up again an emerge with more power. My favourite of the evening was T00. Also the T03 shows promise. Finally, the 2004 de la Rosa was also very pleasant to drink.

I (and my dad) had a really good time. I agree that the 70's on show were nothing to write home about. My personal highlight was the G83 with some lovely forest fruit notes. The T92 was a very nice Port, but was tipped to the best Taylor of the night (TOTN?) by the T03. The W94 was the best of the 94 range but I was generally dissapointed by all of them. As an honourable mention the QdlR15 was a thing of beauty.

I was surprised by how much I liked both the 2015 and the 2004 la Rosa Porta.
