We are in the Board Room this evening - that’s the room immediately on the right as you enter from the street.

I have my laptop with me this evening. If anyone wants to join by video Skype we can sit you at the end of the table. Just let me know.

I should also add that I am in the room now and have started writing my tasting notes so as not to be behind everyone else when they both arrive.

Update on Alex's plans to buy a quinta (with at least 10 bedrooms)?

Sadly those plans have had to be postponed due to lack of available funding - collapsing world markets have not helped the cause.

Interesting that we’re having a Y2K tasting tonight 20 year’s on from the prediction that Y2K would herald meltdown...

The British government can borrow for 50 years at an interest rate of about 1%. What are the good long-term investments for which the government should borrow?
