Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
Re: Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
Sorry team, I can’t attend. Should I deliver my bottles to DRT?
Re: Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
Hi Alex,
thank you very much for your offer. WIll take you up on this in case I do not find a Dow 1963 in the meantime.

No sooner do I post this:
Than this happens:AHB wrote:Subject to confirmation from Wolfgang and Jacob, the Dow line up shown here is the final line up for Tuesday fortnight.
I suggest that if we want the D66 to be included in the line up then we should take up Julian's kind offer to still provide us with a bottle and then collectively share the cost. Any other thoughts?JDAW1 wrote:Sorry team, I can’t attend. Should I deliver my bottles to DRT?

I’ll regenerate the placemats today (I forgot to keep the PostScript within reach). Please confirm that this post holds the latest requirements.

Updated draft of the placemats.
- Regenerated from scratch (I forgot to email myself the PostScript doh!), hopefully in compliance with previous post. Check in advance to avoid disappointment on the night.

Re: Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
Please could you make your D66 available to us and let me know the cost - we don't appear to have any others available and this is certainly worth inclusion.jdaw1 wrote:Updated draft of the placemats.A decision on my Dow 1966 is needed no later than 17:00 tomorrow, that being Sunday 22nd August 2010.

I am anticipating Jacob will provide the 977 from my stock but have not been able to confirm this yet. For the purposes of the placemats, please assume Jacob will provide the 1977.

Thanks for the update and for sharing the '66 with us.jdaw1 wrote:Updated draft of the placemats.Still excluded, not worthy of your time, are ’60, ’75 (not arguing, just checking), ’91. Please confirm.

I suspect that the '60 and '75 will remain absentees, but it is entirely possible the '91 would be a good candidate for a last minute entry - but I am sure that we can cope with some hand-modification to the tasting mats.

Re: Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
Some thoughts:
1) Have you thought about putting an index to your tasting mats on your website so as to make it easier to find and look at old tasting mats?
2) I don't see the 1991 Dow on the mats (but I did only look at the first couple so if you've done something clever, I may have missed it)?
But I do like the layout and font. All nice, clear and unfussy.

My fault, I had uploaded it to the wrong place. Try this. (When the file is moved this link will break.)

Re: Tuesday 7th September - Dow Vertical at TCP
I would say it looks almost perfect. The abdition of a set marked "DRT" would make it look perfect to me. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a way of being in the vicinity of TCP on 7th September. Yet.AHB wrote:Looks perfect. Thank you.

Absolutely there is. Don't suppose you have a bottle of Dow 1991 you could bring along as your contribution? If not, we can sort one our for you to adopt.angeleyes wrote:I'd very much like to attend this - is there is an available space?
