Glenn, these are perfect - thank you. And plain is good. I like plain. Even more likeable is plain with block font.Glenn E. wrote:It appears that I do not have the ability to host the .ps and .pdf files anywhere, and the forums won't allow me to upload them either, so they have been emailed to AHB. I think.
Let me know if you'd like any changes - these are pretty plain, but that's also typical of the placemats I create for my own use.

Happy to help!
Ben, I don't have an email address for you. If you'd like to examine the .ps you can get it from AHB or PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.

Please, what is meant by this term?AHB wrote:block font
Ben: the not-my-style was about the choice of titles. For me, BL1, BL2, BL3, and BL4 suggested a series of cask samples from the house BL, presumably Barros Liceras (spelling?). The graphical style used my defaults and was therefore exemplary.

The comment was a reference to my first attempt not meeting your own high standards. I have Glenn's PS file and pdf for Thursday to review and see if I can improve my technique!jdaw1 wrote:Please, what is meant by this term?AHB wrote:block font

There is no requirement to match my style. Do your own. So long as it works well (which for large tastings can be a demanding requirement), it suffices.

My bottle and the tasting mats are safely in London. My only challenge will be to get them safely from the office to Covent Garden.
