15 of the ports are at my flat. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to get to TBH by 4, but I can certainly meet someone at my flat and escort them with the ports to a taxi if not.

Sorry for my non-presence on :tpf: over the last few weeks. Work has been horrifically busy.

I think everything looks like it is in-hand, but if not and if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Reminder: 18:15 for 18:30.

Those willing to help thank you with pre-tasting set-up should offer services to RAYC and DRT.

I do also know that Axel was told by someone that certain vintages of "Corte" were not exclusively single quinta, so there may be some significance to this (but no doubt Nick will be able to enlighten).
I had only five Cortes, as I had ’97 as plain Delaforce. Please re-check bottles against the updated draft of the placemats.

I forgot the sticky labels. And then, trying this morning, they don’t work (draft of the placemats). To be fixed late this evening.

No worries - I can always mark the labels by hand if it is a problem.

An extra thought - I'll keep and bring the corks if there's any feeling that a cork display sheet might be nice

Please do check the naming of the variations of ‟Corte”. I will fix other matter: it can’t be too hard.

I can confirm that the bottles i have in my possession are labelled in the way described (and as your latest draft sets out), though i am not sure whether the "Da" should be capitalised or not (the labels are in block capitals, but when transposed to mixed case the "da" should presumably not be capitalised - my error, apologies). The 97 is definitely Corte.

What i don't know is if there is actually any distinction between the "Cortes" and "Quinta da Cortes". We have some hearsay that Axel overheard suggesting there may be some difference, but the website seems to imply that the "Cortes" are single quinta, so i'd suggest naming them in the way you prefer. To add an extra complexity, Quinta da Corte is properly spelt "Quinta da Côrte" (see this page of Delaforce website) - again, presumbaly the accent is dropped when written in block capitals but should be reinserted when transposed to mixed case. I defer to the linguistic expertise of others on this.

Thank you. This evening I will accent the all the ‟Côrte”s; add a cork display; fix the labels; and post here to say that this has been done.

RAYC to print tomorrow.

Please confirm satisfactory.
