my vote is for the a.m. option but perhaps an immediate double decant or into a small decanter rather than a big ship's decanter with a lot of air contact.

nb - given my still tentative attendance and the fact i will struggle for printer access tomorrow, it will not be easy for me to print (though if we're really stuck i could send by email to the Barbican Ryman printing service email address if Derek/Julian email the .pdf to me)

I can decant at midnight tonight (with immediate re-corking) or tomorrow at around 5pm.

Please choose.

Rob favours early decanting; I favour late. DRT: you have the casting vote.

My preference for my bottles is 5pm tomorrow as is lessens the chance of them leaking on my clothes in my bag tomorrow. I therefore vote for 5pm for JDAWs bottle too.

The plan:
TCP, 18:30ish.
• JDAW and DRT definitely, RAYC probably, RLC who knows, others welcome.
• Late decanting for JDAW and DRT, others as they see fit.
• JDAW to print the placemats.

only if you accept that there is an objectively correct answer, rather than merely a personal drinking preference!

Mz67 was decanted at 12.30 - excellent colour, dregs tasted very nice!
