Helen, of The Bung Hole, has written to me that ‟the table is approximately 16ft by 4ft wide”. So that’s ≈27.4″ for each person. A3 is ≈16.55″ and A4 is ≈8.28″ wide, totalling ≈24.83″ of glasses under the current design, which leaves only ≈2.6″ for TN sheets. Sheet merging is needed.

Merging means that some sheets must be guillotined, and then connected with double-sided tape. Which adds some inconvenience.

AHB: you offered to print. Please would you be able to guillotine? Instructions can follow.

Updated draft of the placemats. One sheet is guillotined at the green line and laid over the other.

Alex: for administrative simplicity, I’ll cope in a local print shop.

If the print-outs for the Graham's vertical in November on the thicker card were acceptable, i'll re-state my offer of last week to do this - have ready access to the card, the sticky-tape, the guillotine and the printer and will be dropping off the T80 and T83 at TBH around lunchtime on 22nd...

Thank you. Accepted. Does the current draft of the placemats appear compatible with your magic?

Because of your cache problems, I’ll email the latest on Thursday 21st, and all subsequent updates.

Great. If possible, printing the bulk of these on Tuesday or Wednesday would be preferable.

Derek might not be available on Friday this is not yet known for sure. If that proves to be true, I could decant by myself (even if mildly preferring help and company), and get the bottles to The Bung Hole by 3pm. But help with pre-pouring and distributing would be much welcomed. Could anybody be available?

I have already volunteered my assistance with pre-pouring duties from about 4:30pm.

DRT and I will be decanting elsewhere into pre-cleaned bottles. Just for the avoidance of confusion and false accusation, most of these bottles were sourced, tonight, from the recycling bin of a local pub.

AHB, JDAW and I will be arriving early to set-up the room and to pre-pour the wines. As we have extremely limited space in the room could others please not attempt to be helpful by arriving before 18:15 otherwise we will all be tripping over one another. It will be far more helpful if you all meet at a nearby pub to cleanse your palates ahead of the onslaught of Taylor vintages.

JDAW has been appointed Chief of Security and will eject early birds in his usual no-nonsense manner.

RAYC: Please remember to drop off your pre-decanted bottles at TBH at lunchtime.

BMHR: Please remember to bring your pre-decanted bottle with you.

I am still able to drop my bottle off at a central location on Thursday if that is an option. Somewhere in the vicinity of Tottenham Court Road or Holborn perhaps?

I'm on the move using my phone. I may be in a port free zone! At least Tapatalk is keeping me in touch. I'm grateful at least for that much.

The Bung Hole is in Holborn. Perhaps you could drop it off there?

Ben: DRT didn’t know that you and I made a better plan I’ll collect it from you on Thursday.

Please sir, if you are posting pictures of port could we have pictures of the bottles as well as the capsules? Old bottles are often quirky and interesting.
