Nice idea Tom.
Re: date, unfortunately my previous response stands for 27th Nov - two nights midweek in London in the same week is unlikely to be viable due to work, and am already hotel-booked for the BBR tasting the following evening. Possible last-minute if work allows and there is still a spot, but assume I am unlikely to be able to make it.

And now I can't make the 27th - Christmas shopping, unfortunately. The trade I have had to make to be able to attend BBR the following day.AHB wrote:I can make 27th, but not 29th. If a Calem vertical I will have to adopt if Wolfgang is willing and able to share.

Do you mean you are also making apologies? Or are you responsible for Alex's Christmas shopping commitments? What did you ask Santa for...?jdaw1 wrote:Apologies.AHB wrote:And now I can't make the 27th - Christmas shopping, unfortunately. There is a conspiracy afoot. I have just been informed by my other half that I have port tasting events on both 27th and 28th November. We are all doomed.

If wanted, I could bring a Churchill Agua Alta 1983, that for some years was stored only mediumly well. So I’ll also adopt.

Oscar and Christopher Pfaff did a Horizontal in the Douro at Quevedo in September.
The lineup was:
Churchill
Kopke
Cockburn
Gould Campbell
Grahams
Borges
Taylor
Messias
Ramos PInto
Warre
Quarles Harris
RCV
Fonseca
Niepoort
Dow
WotN was Gould Campbell, followed by Niepoort and Taylors. The Symingtons did very well throughout for not being a spectacular Vintage, Niepoort and Ramos Pinto, too.

Some questions relating to my production of the placemats:
Christopher - initials of your +1 please
Tom - are you going to try and secure the Niepoort you mentioned above?
WHO is going to bring WHAT; and how many people are hoping to adopt from Tom?
I will bring a Cálem (which is currently in Tom's keeping) and RAB is bringing Croft Quinta do Roeda.

The only 1983 I have is Real Vinicola. I will bring that and then buy in for a real bottle of something.
