I wonder which of the fifty seven "Portland" restaurants/hotels in London our merry band will meet up in?

in a private room at Portland (a wonderful new restaurant on GPS).

Portland, 113 Great Portland Street W1W 6QQ , tel +44 20 7436 3261 (maps.google.co.uk).

They don’t have to be the same Portland, but it seems to be a sensible working hypothesis.

Should I declare what I am bringing?
