Late evening conversation:
JDAW: “You can’t go home until we’ve finished the Feist and the Smith Woodhouse.”
ED: “Finish the Smeist!”

And I repeat the earlier big thank you Eric D. for choosing and purchasing the bottles. My first colheita tasting, and very educational. Excellent stuff, though I prefer vintage port.

Jdaw,

Great pictures, nice notes and, as ever, extremely helpfull thread linkage.

If you can force yourself to stoop to drinking LBV you should give Andresen one last go before writing them off.

Derek

PS: Have you been working out?

Nice notes and pics, looks like it was a fun evening!

I've also tasted some pretty decent LBV's from Andresen. Not stellar, but nice.

You have been spending too much time with Americans and your ability to spot subtle humour seems to be somewhat diminished

Just in case the Colheita hasn't worn off yet:
  • I remembered your comment about the gym
  • viewed the picture of you above
  • thought of something witty to say connecting the two things
  • asked if you had been working out (this was the witty thing I thought of)

Maybe. Or my standard for something to be called “wit” is somewhat higher. ;-)
