Roy Hersh wrote:"Roy, will you please get out of the way!?!?!" was bellowed within the first two minutes of my walking into the room and I must say, I got quite a good  from that sense of urgency. Thanks Julian!
Roy, you have form for wanting to look and smell at the just the time that busy folk are fetching and carrying and putting out and generally busy being busy. Some people respond to a gentle request experience has taught me that you are not one. And you have mis-quoted me: my bellowing was in the imperative voice, and had no tone of questioning the punctuation was merely “…”.

You might even choose to believe that a certain paragraph in the TPF Offline Guide was written after the Cockburn vertical in The Crusting Pipe.

I would appreciate if one of you with a good quality photo of the Mackenzie bottle intact, would allow me to use this next to the TN in my article. If so please forward a jpeg to portolover@aol.com

Otherwise, would whomever took the photo of the capsule, allow me to use a copy of that?

Either or both work.

Thank you!

You have two (large) emails with pictures of capsule, and of cork & capsule. I do not have a picture of the bottle.

You have the originals, not cropped, not scaled, not whitened. It might help the readers to whiten the picture of the cork, as was done in the Mk55 thread.

For any of you who attended the event or even others from TPF who would like to read the newsletter containing this article, if you email me at Portolover@aol.com and put "55@55" in the subject line, I'd be happy to send you a copy.

I'm glad that this tasting produced yet another fake-bottle controversy. It's been over 3 months since the last one so I was beginning to get worried!

Although it must have been a nightmare to cellar, that Niepoort bottle is one of the best I've seen. Such a shame that they don't do a secondary bottling like that now!
