Friday Dec 2nd 1970 VP revival

On Dec 2nd a smaller group of enthusiasts gathered in Leverkusen to re-try what we thought to be the best of the 1970 Vintage. Over the course of the evening the following shippers were tasted:

Sadly the Graham and the Gould Campbell were faulty and the Messias was much too light. The others showed extremely well. Dirk Niepoort kindly supported the Dinner with two Magnums Tiara 05 and Batuta 07.
Wine of the night: Taylor 70 (Dirks bottle), Fonseca and Warre, although most people were struggling to choose as they were lots of candidates for medals. VIPs present were (besides Dirk) Christian Seely and Joao Machete Perreira.
