Saturday 20 March 2004, chez WDBP and LMP in Wimbledon, I bringing Warre 1963, Warre 1970, and a Croft 1970 (placemats, the page being guillotined down the middle). The Warre 1963 showed brown and tasted of alcohol. Drink up. The Warre 1970, from my case of same, had a similar alcohol-flavoured sharpness. It was the reddest of the three, and really quite good.

The best, unanimously but not by much for my vote, was the Croft 1970, Cloudy, more fruit than the others, very soft. Lovely.
