2004 Barca Velha

This is the current release of Barca Velha, only 26,068 bottles have been released. Deep red in colour, superb on the nose with a strong concentration of dark fruit and beef stock. Wonderfully balanced and elegant entry with superb fruit concentration and gentle tannins. Lots of purple fruit all over the palate and a wonderful finish. A superb wine. 95/100. Drunk 14 June 2012.
