I didn't write a formal note of this wine, but do remember picking it as the Chablis Grand Cru given the weight and power on the nose and on the palate. I was amazed to find this was the NZ imposter - available at Waitrose!
Drunk at the 2016 Doty Cup.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
