2010 Niepoort Redoma Tinto

Links to follow.

Opaque to purple at edge. What a nose! Gerard Depardieu eat your famous facial feature.

Nose of beef, raw or only slightly cooked. Almost bolognese. "National meatiness" I wrote. After several minutes of loving the smell it was time to taste. Which was lovely, but lighter than the bouquet. The meatiness faint.

An excellent wine, the best part of which is the smell.

This was very dense indeed in the nose, woody and quite meaty, as I believe someone said elsewhere.. In the mouth, it's soft, with a lot of good structure and boniness but still quite light (unexpectedly so?)
