2011 Niepoort Redoma Branco

Post by djewesbury »

We held our second 'Port of Belfast' event in a room at the Lyric Theatre. We were very pleased to be able to host a tutored tasting of Niepoort wines and ports with Nick Delaforce.

2011 Niepoort Redoma Branco. Rich soft mid+ weight. Burgundy notes flitting in and out. It disappeared fast from my glass yum.

Very buttery in the nose - does this have a malolactic fermentation? Much more structured than theDrink Me Branco 2012. Very enjoyable.

No. To my knowledge the only commercial white Dirk does with Malolactic fermentation is his flag ship white, Coche.
