1992 Chateau Tertre Roteboeuf

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dense and dark in colour. Tight nose, with some fruit showing, but a little dirty. Huge, dense palate. Lots of fruit and gentle tannins but in need of much more time. Very fine, with a long finish. This will reward patience. 89/100. Drunk 28-Dec-13 at this dinner.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Indeed! Well cellared case Rob and I took on, even in the weakest vintage of the 90s this still needs time. Outside Lafleur and Petrus the best 92 there is.
