1959 Chateau Lafon-Rochet
Dark chestnut brown, opaque at the centre. Balsamic vinegar on the nose, spoiled and oxidised. On the palate this is more acceptable with some depth and sweetness but the tannins are dry and bitter, and the volatility never goes away. The aftertaste and finish are quite pleasant. 72/100. Drunk 15-Apr-15.

1959 Chateau Lafon-Rochet: nose very stinky; palate of marzipan. Not drinkable.
