Hi!

Post by Jasper »

As this forum seems to be an intimate crowd, I'll introduce myself briefly.

My name is Jasper Hammink from the Netherlands. I must confess I have more of a wine background than a Port background. It was only recently that I started buying VP's, but as it goes that is not going to enhance my experience anywhere in the near future. But I guess I'm on the right track with the horizontal '77 tasting that is planned.

Most of my time goes into building http://www.freewinesearcher.com, which I want to make the best free search engine for wines and ports. Starting next month I will work full time on achieving that goal. Suggestions for your favorite retailers are more than welcome!

Cheers,

Jasper

Hi Jasper,

Welcome to :tpf: - I hope you enjoy all those 77 VP's with Ronnie & the gang in July.

Hi Jasper. I look forward to meeting you in July.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Can it find me free wine or is it just free searches for wine?!

Hello and welcome :)
Any time not spend drinking port, is a waste of time.

Hi Jasper and welcome!

I co-incidentally stumbled across your site a few days ago. It's certainly very impressive and I am attempting to make full use of it!
