Well, you have one of the two. The other was presumably a device to allow others to guess.

Recap:

No. And I wouldn’t even recognise all of these.
Surely you would recognize Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson?

Yes. With several minders. Not outsized minders, about 6′, but if they challenged me then deference would probably have been best.

Followed by much chatter amongst the people around me about the PM being on the Victoria Line.

On account of a spoiled ballot; a bottle of robust beaujolais, say a Morgon from 2005.

Wait, you get to vote again if you mess it up first time? Oh we have a different system here. You get to vote as many times as you like so long as you vote for the same party each time (especially if you're dead).
No.

If there was vinegar then I would guess fish and chips which leads me to the obvious choice of champagne. I think your house fizz would be Perrier Jouet, not because it's best but because the bottle has most kerb appeal.

Kaolin and morphine?
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Oh dear, I thought "vinho verde" would be a harmless guess.
Well, here's my question:
What vegetable did I have for lunch today (besides potatoes)?

I think I would have demanded a recount. Or a least a posted photo of the empty.

As to vegetables; asparagus.
