1985 Offley Boa Vista
50% opacity, rich red. Nose of lovely ripe strawberries and candy floss. In the mouth, velvet sweetness, ripe red fruits, heat in the finish and a superb long aftertaste of strawberry and milk chocolate. Really nice port.
I looked back at previous notes for this port. The cork from this bottle was nearly identical to the bottle JDAW opened 8 years ago - good as new top half, disintegrated bottom half. Also two capsules, plastic inner stamped 1985, and metal outer.
