2016-04-05 Release of Graham "90" tawny port

Post by PhilW »

Graham's Toast Her Majesty's 90th birthday with limited edition Port. At what sounds like an extremely interesting tasting at BBR, lucky attendees were able to not only taste the upcoming special release for the Queen's 90th birthday, but they were also able to taste samples of the three casks from which this port was blended. Victoria Moore was there and has written about this in the Telegraph, link above. I love the idea of being able to taste the constituents alongside the final blended product; I imagine this must have been a fascinating tasting.

It's not been tasted by me and I don't recall seeing a tasting note posted by anyone else from the forum. Sorry, you'll just have to go on the tasting notes from the official launch.
