1992 Dow Bomfim

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Lovely brick-red colour, mature appearance. Gentle cherries on the nose, sweet and spiced. Smooth satin texture with cherries, star anise and soft cocoa tannins. A great late palate with lovely acidity keeping thing fresh. Delicious aftertaste and a long, slightly candied raspberry jelly finish. Impressive port. 91/100. Drunk 24-Jun-16. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
