Next to the 2002 Bollinger this seems flat footed, bigger and more vinous, but not in a good way. It tastes a bit too sweet and looks a bit too brown. This note will give the sense of a complete dud, but I don't think it is, rather it is the house style. Not my cup of tea. But a perfectly acceptable bottle. I have found Veuve ages rather well, but I would be surprised if this one did. Better than their 2004 however.
