1975 Taylor's Vintage Port

Post by RonnieRoots »

Tasted September 2004:
Since Ronnie and Stevie have 'some' connection to the year 1975, we come across many surprises...

1 hour decanted.
Light, clear ruby colour with brown rim.
After you get used to the intense aromas of alcohol, it strongly smells like mosquito repellent and maybe some dried prums. Not very good, so to say.
The taste has more: lots of iodine, very hot and some chocolat. Did I say this is a light bodied VP? It is very simple and over the top, if it ever reached a top.

I have a horizontal of Fonseca, Taylor's, Graham's, Croft 1975 VP and a Niepoort's LBV 1975 waiting for an excuse to be used in an Offline. Get those thinking caps on guys
