Deep purple colour with a narrow rim. Lovely on the nose, full of fresh fruit. Rounded and smooth on the palate, balanced and fragrant - a huge mouthful of fruit with good acidity but few tannins showing. Simply delicious, so refined. 93/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
