NV Andresen White 10YO (bottled 2017)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Tasted at the Sunday Times wine show at the Old Billingsgate market, London.

Bottled 2017. Pale peach in colour, 10% opaque. A little plastic on the nose at first but as the wine warms this changes to honey and quince. Thick in texture and full of honey flavours; air brings even more honey onto the palate and some lovely sweet flowers. Mango and a ripe citrus acidity keep the aftertste and finish focused and balanced. Delicious. 90/100. Drunk 19-May-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
