Re: Second wind for 1963s? Tuesday 10 April 2018
From the other thread it sounds as though the Cr63 delivered to the B&F for the '63 tasting has been drunk (at the '22 tasting last week). Unfortunately I do not have one to offer, but if possible can we locate a replacement as it would be a shame for the Croft not to be present to compare with the other primary shippers?

I will be dropping off the Cr63 tomorrow around lunchtime.
I am available for whatever duties need to be performed on Tuesday. Someone please give me my orders.

For CPR and DRL: thank you.
For DRT: thank you.
I’m bringing Taylor, Ramos Pinto and Niepoort (for JDAW, AP, WG).
Tom is bringing Noval and Constantino (THRA, MPM).
Ian is bringing Offley and Cálem (both for himself, double thanks).
Wolfgang S. is bringing Cockburn (WPS).
Phil is bringing Fonseca.
Which total twelve bottles.
Now it gets trickier, because we haven’t heard from Cookie in ages. A team decision would be welcome.
Alex is bringing Mackenzie and Dow (AHB and KHM).
Cookie said he would bring Sandeman (RLC).
Asking Alex to bring both doesn’t quite solve the problem, because he would decant with our knowing about Cookie.
What should we do? I vote that AHB is to decant and bring both D and Mk, and we’ll team-adopt if required.

Also agree.

Indeed, if he isn’t coming we should know that. My patience is exhausted. So now there is a deadline.
Cookie: if you do not post in this thread by midday Monday 9th April, then you and Kate are deemed to have withdrawn, and are not coming.
This message will be posted in the thread, and sent by PM, by text, and by email.

And just confirm (as those others present the other evening will have noted) that my two bottles are residing at the B&F.

Panic ye not!...KMH and I ARE attending but sincere apologies for late notice...it has been rather stressful on our return from New Zealand for a number of reasons...I am bringing the Sandeman and Kate is adopting the Mk from Alex (thank you).

I will be attending tomorrow, but will be relying on British Rail’s successor companies to get me promptly to London from Rugby. I may be late.

Urgent!!!...I have somehow followed in the belief that I actually owned a Sandeman '63...it now appears that this is not the case...the bottle believed to be S'63 has had its label (and probably the contents) changed to a Croft '63...the only other 63 I have is a Burmester Colheita...probably unacceptable for this tasting....please advise what I need to do or suggest a solution please.

Unfortunately not. I will not be at home between now and Tuesday night. Perhaps Tom might have an S63 you could adopt?

Ok...sorry chaps but in the absence of a viable solution Kate and I will withdraw...if any expense has been incurred please advise accordingly.
