In a bottle of Fonseca 1963 was a question rather than a certain answer:

This was a bit rough, nowhere near as good as the CaF63 tasted at last year's Calem vertical. This one was quite rough, and had slight toffee notes.

35% opacity, yellow brown, cloudy. Overripe soft fruits on the nose, melons perhaps. Sweet, flabby, no backbone.

CáF63: red-orange, 40%. Acidic; closed; grapefruit. Not good.
