Jv17: not tasted on the night, but two nights later drinking very well. Grit, dark plum, good weight and length, not as soft as some perhaps because the texture has more grip — which could be a feature of being open two days.

Perfect for the fifth episode of Chernobyl.

B8: A lighter style with a spiciness to the nose, Somewhat aggressive on palate-acids and tannins bite possibly somewhat unbalanced but we shall see given time.

Not much fruit to be found. Very grippy tannins and some acidity, but not much else to balance this, leading to a very dry port. Maybe better when it opens up? Left some to breathe until later in the evening - a little cherry shone through but still seems like this is not ready to drink. Not one of my favourites on the night.
