Deep red with a mature tone but still incredibly dark; 90% opaque. Attractive nose of warm fruit although a touch restrained. The restraint continues on the palate with the entry brooding and dark, hinting at having lots of fruit but slow to show it. Great tannins still present though. This bottle is closed, but shows lots of promise for the future. 89/100.
Tasted at the Berry Brothers Port Walk on 26 November 2015.

80% opacity, dark red. Pepper nose. Full, tannic, fruit and pepper. Very enjoyable.

Colour noted as “bagga bagga”. Surely a trick of the light. Menthol, mint, lemon. Sweet and mid weight. Less evolved than the GC. Great Port. But wait!, and it will be greater.
