N91. Red, 40% opaque. Pleasant, but not great. Simple sugar leading to a dry mid palate.

Red, 50% opaque. Indeterminate nose. Pontefract cakes again in the mouth, and red liquorice. Quite a likeable and quite savoury port if, like this example, you get a good bottle.

Still fairly deep colour; initially thought it was maybe a bit dirty on the nose with some odd notes. Much better in the mouth, although alcohol a bit out of balance, still some drying tannin.

Later on, nose was better with some nice development, but alcohol still too forward.
