I came across some bottles of Taylor '77 for sale today which the photo showed had a more modern style of Taylor labels than you normally see on the '77s. I think they're the style Taylor used on the '85s and later. It's hard to tell, but I also think they have a different (more modern) type of capsule than the ones I'm used to seeing.
Was there a later release of the '77s does anyone know?

I am aware of at least one labelling of T77, which took place in November 2009, using the newer-style.

As they often store the bottles without the label, the newly released bottles might differ a bit. Happened to the 85s. There are differnt versions.
